Events worth showing up for.

I want to create more spaces where people can talk openly, learn from one another and feel comfortable getting involved.

This page includes events I’m hosting, campaign gatherings, community forums and other opportunities to meet people who care about what is happening around them.

Let's Talk Politics

Let's Talk Politics is a relaxed night for young people to discuss political ideas, share their views and hear how other people see the world.

You do not need to be a political expert or support a particular party. The point is to understand the issues better, speak honestly and meet some new people along the way.

There will also be free pizza and soft drinks. Enjoy!

How it works

  1. 01

    A policy is introduced

We begin with a clear policy question for the room to consider.

  2. 02

    Choose where you stand

Move to the left if you agree, the right if you disagree, or stay in the middle if you are still unsure.

  3. 03

    Explain your thinking

People from different sides will have the chance to share why they chose their position.

The goal is not to win an argument. It is to understand how other people think and leave knowing more than you did when you arrived.

RSVP

Leave your name and phone number below to reserve your place.

The event is free, and pizza and soft drinks will be provided.

Your number will only be used to send important event updates if anything changes.
