Pushing Australia into the Future

"I'm Michael Richmond, a 20-year-old independent candidate for Wentworth. I’m running for all young Australians—those who are old enough to vote and those who aren't—because too often, politicians overlook us when creating and enacting policies.
Having worked with primary and secondary school students for over three years, I’ve witnessed firsthand the impact these policies have had on them. Young Australians are struggling—unable to afford housing, essential goods like food and electricity, or spend quality time with their loved ones—all due to an economy that doesn’t serve them.
As someone who understands these challenges personally, I’m running to change this. Parents deserve more time with their children, and kids deserve more time with their parents. Together, we can create a future that puts young Australians first."
